Anne Terimo appointed commercial director at Finnforel

Anne Terimo, MSc, has been appointed commercial director and member of the executive team at Finnforel Oy from August 31, 2023. Terimo has more than twenty years of experience in the food and retail industry in sales, marketing and product development.

In her position, Terimo leads with her team the sales, marketing, and product development of Finnforel’s Saimaan Tuore rainbow trout products. Her role also involves developing and executing strategies to promote and expand the company’s sales and presence in global markets.

Most recently, Terimo was one of the founders of the online grocery store Oda Finland, and before that she was responsible for marketing, product development and category management at HKScan for ten years.

“As the company’s production is growing strongly, Anne will bring insight into retail business and commercial development. Anne strengthens our position in consumer-packaged goods and drives new dynamics and know-how,”

says Jussi Mekkonen, CEO of Finnforel.

“Finnforel is a startup company at an interesting stage, and it is really exciting to join the journey. I believe that my versatile background in the retail business will bring a new kind of know-how to the company, and together with the team we will be able to develop the company’s commercial performance to a new level,” says Anne Terimo.
